Datacard function for standalone WIS - winter - 08-05-2018

Hi,

I found datacard function couldn't verify the VIN for standalone WIS,but for standalone EPC,it is ok.so how to fix it?or is it normal I'm not sure.thnx

This is normal, you have to install WIS under EWA NET to get the data card (unless someone has prepared a fancy fix).

Why would you want to read the datacard from WIS instead of EPC?

There is a keygen and a method how to setup for standalone

Other forums have the keygen and the install instructions!

Show your epc key, see if it is datacard enabled.

Would certainly like to learn more (although I still don't see the point in WIS standalone today as you can link WIS NET from EWA NET to DAS/Xentry) unless you are referring to the option to set up WIS Standalone. WIS Standalone always needed a different key from that of WIS on EWA NET. Most of us here can give you the WIS Standalone key if that is what you wanted.

Under EWA, WIS gives the datacard even if the EPC key was not datacard enabled. Should it be different for this strange WIS Standalone case?
