wat tho you mean blue wire

thanks

RE: Kess volvo cable - Mex165 - 21-05-2018

On your Kess V2 OBD Cable you have a Cable sticking out…!

You take the blue wire/Cable and connect one end to K-Line pin on ECU and the other end to the Cable sticking out of your Kess V2 OBD Cable...!

RE: Kess volvo cable - SFR - 18-06-2018

is this the same for siemens sid ecu? and is that the reason i get checksum error at end of reading file?

if i put the file into winols it says checksum ok

if i then use ecu safe to remove dpf, then correct checksum with winols and then try and write file to ecu it wont let me, says checksum error yet win ols says cs ok??

im using kess 5.017 and ksuite 2.47

car is a 2005 Volvo S40 2.0d

cheers

i measured this Cable sticking out and going just to DB25 plug and pin 11,
so when is OBD2 cable plug into CAR then KLINE signal should go to 10 and 11 pin db25 or just 11?

So in theory VOLVO cable is just changed K-line signal ?... in Standard CAN kline pin7 OBD2 plug going to  db25 pin 10,

in Volvo cable going to DB25 pin 11 RIGHT? or 10 and 11, or something diffrent.

Question is.. example Bosh EDC16c34 dont have communication for CAN than?
