I bought a cic of 2009, retrofit on my bmw e90 year 2005, you tell me how can I activate the navigation without using the emulator?

you have 2 options - 1. use script activation - mostly via USB-ethernet adapter
2. here is possibility to generate own FSC codes, I guess it is top article on 1.st page https://cartechnology.co.uk/showthread.php?tid=23198

if the cic is not updated to the last version, does the procedure work?
the cic should arrive to me next week.

You have to update it to the latest version first

latest version not required, but it wont work with first one, you can try usb script file from the link, if it will work, you can continue, if not, you have to update it, or chose different approach.

I can help with cic activation online if you have proper tools, icom and battery charger which will hold charge

hi,
did not use the script activation, I connected the cic with enet, I can only enter with telnet, ftp is not active.
you tell me the procedure to follow I installed fstool and it seems to work.
cic production 2009, CIC.C0A software.
