Dashboard Stop and Prog Error after speedo swop - Candymancancan - 25-08-2018
I have a 2011 Megane Mk3 1.5 DCi .
The one thing it didn't have when I bought it was cruise control, so I thought it would be a good project to upgrade. Having purchased the switch the steering wheel and the speedo head I have installed them and have the following problems.
1. When I activate the CC switch it doesnt show in the display
2. I have a permanent red stop light on the dash display (not due to brake fluid)
3. The display comes up with PROG ERR
It also came up with the service light but I know how to clear those, so that was ok.
My car has done 40k less miles than this head and assume it may have something to do with that, as that was presumably what prompted the service light.
Could anybody give me clear instructions on what equipment I need (Renault Clip?) ans specifics of how I go about it.
