NBT Evo bricked - hiho199 - 05-09-2018

Hey there,

this is my first post, hope someone helps me on this:+

I have sucessfully bricked an NBT Evo on my testbench when upgrading Bootloader via E-Sys (no loader when flashing active):

It flashed the bootloader and gave this error:

[HU_NBT2 - 63 - btld_00001ffd-001_052_004] Transaction type: blFlash; Message: 1% Fortschritt bei ECUId:HU_NBT2_0x63 [100% von btld_00001ffd-001_052_004] [TRANSACTION]
[] Job-Ausführung ist fehlgeschlagen: negative response error:
code: repeat job
description: service RoutineControl CheckMemory IndicatedCheckValue returned unexpected result: debugInformation_02_FF; LinkName: HU_NBT2_63_ETHERNET_63
severity: FATAL ERROR
[THROWABLE]

Now the fan runs full speed and the display shows "no signal". I cannot access it via tool32 and esys does not see it either. Is there a way to flash the bootloader using the serial console/connection? Is there another way to make this thing programmable again?

Best - Marvin

Hi, thx for your reply. I’m using esys 3.32 without launcher. i will try using icom instead of Ethernet.

RE: NBT Evo bricked - DJ_B4L - 14-10-2018

did you get it running using icom

RE: NBT Evo bricked - hiho199 - 16-10-2018

hey, thanks for asking.

I did NOT get it running via ICOM. I can't even access it via UART...

All I get is a reboot loop which displays this:

IPL: B140,D1,14233B[2014-06-04 11:32:07],J5,PG3.0,GL-N=128(4),RAM=256,RST=9
CLK: 720/600/400 MHz (ARM/DSP/DDR)
IOC: 32000000 013100ff 02000000 00530000

Any Ideas on how to get this thing in serial boot to actually load some IPL or flash the memory, so that it would at least boot again?

Who knows how to solve a problem, and recover bootloader?

Can anyone fix this problem?

RE: NBT Evo bricked - vilord - 14-01-2019

is the bootloader something that is installed on the hard drive in the evo? it might be possible to use DD to copy from a good evo to that bad one and then re-run the flash?
