R56 ISTA-P Error - e46ad - 12-09-2018
Hi guys please see the picture below I get this error when I try and use MINI,
BMW is 100% perfect whats the issue does anyone have a clue on this,
I normally do BMW all the time but this is the first time I see this message,
The Interface is in an Invalid state, The session must be ended,
Tired restart ICOM left battery off the car and reconnected restarted windows etc,
Still noting any idea people,

Yes OEM ICOM direct from BMW. Only happens on Mini Cars all of them it seems thanks.

Just out of Curiosty!
Are you using Beemerboy Loader for ISTA-P?
If yes then when loader starts up, what do you select BMW or MINI from the Icons?

In the picture you can see the color orange.
So it should be ISTA P Loader and Mini.

Please check the icom settings in configuration manager or icom io:58000 in browser.

I use the loader yes and select MINI

What I am checking for Pal?
I can use it on BMW stuff 100% np's on ISTA + and ISTA-P Only mini showing this error

I am getting nowhere fast here,
Check ICOM all good did a complete reinstall of all Software and still noting,
Can't think for the life of me what's going wrong, I plugged it back into a BMW E60 for a test works first time...
Would love it if someone has any ideas of were to go next I am a garage and really need to get the mini's working to carry on with my current work load,

Hello yes i pick mini from the selection on the loader as you can see my selction is oranage the text etc meaning mini i tired on bmw ista p but it says this car can't be read move to mini and it reads but then shows that error.
No mini doesn't work on ISTA + its too old it tells me to use ista-P i would needgo somehow get a newer mini in
Ista+ works fine for BMW no problems at all same with ista p for e46 etc bmws
I don't know why it's doing this only on minis.
Should i try the latest ista-P or drop down some versions
I have never had problems before with the software allways been flawless.
Anyone else got any ideas stuck here all day on this stupid car...

I thought maybe your icom was set in ispi mode. Not ispi next. This has caused weird issues before. But is this only happening on dcan vehixles? How new is the mini?
