Renault error message "check control steering column" - tiguan - 23-09-2018
Hello everyone.
I need a little help and suggestion, please.
from Renault Megane 2005,
error message "check steering" is active on the dashboard and the SERVICE light flashes constantly.
car starts and drives well, power steering also works well.
car reading with Renault clip, The tester can not find fault, but at the same time the error message is active and the service light is on. I see in the tester clip that there is no communication to the steering column
I would appreciate any advice regarding the above.

Check the connections on the steering module, if its loosing communications the light will show up

you must reinicialize system with clip or renolink
