Digiprog difference - Dash_Burner - 08-05-2014
Last Days i have a problem with my digiprog 3. I cant fix cars which i was able to do with my old banned serial digiprog .
So i opened both units, banned and original yanhua and i find some differences..
1.) I see that 1 chip is missing from yanhua digiprog from pisition X1 which i find it in banned digiprog
2.) Original yanhua digiprog has 1 resistor more than banned serial digiprog.
The problem with yanhua is with audi A4 2006, seat ibiza and Opel corsa 2005.
With banned digiprog i did not have any problem with these cars.
I think that problem is in the missing chip.
Does anyone knows if i remove chip from banned digiprog and put it in original yanhua will this solve problem?

Try it and see. I have also two new digiprog there is no memory and works. Take better pictures that I compare the plate.

Cars that i cant connect is vag's group. The old digiprog was connecting and if it was impossible to fix these cars it said ''use clip to reprogram''.especially seat ibiza cars..New one says no connection.
Do you know somethink about that?. In a few momments i will post better pics to see missing memmory

I have yanhua digiprog, is missing that chip. tool works good.
I have several digiprog clones, not missing that chip, tools work good.
and by the way. yanhua is better quality then other clones, but yanhua is not original digiprog, yanhua is a digiprog clone of repsoft digiprog (tacho.de)

i think you changed mileage of car with bsi module or ezs (this has backup of mileage)
for example peugeot,citroen, mercedes.
when you change tacho (odometer) then the bsi module takes over new mileage when it is higher.
when you change tacho with lower value, then the bsi sends old mileage back to tacho.
which cars did you do?

I bought a digiprog 3 from China, but the package doesn't come with the cable Benz HC12 to support my Mercedes W211(E) EZS-HC12 HCS12? Does any know where can I buy the cable or what should I do? Thanks

I think there is a russian seller that sells this adapter but i think is quite expencive.just search on youtube for ''Digiprog HC12''.
