Help update i-level BMW Motorrad Bike - K24 Series ? - Nerox - 07-10-2018
Hello Everyone,
I'd like to update my motorbike I-level to K024-16-11-500 which was first released with ista p 3.60.0
I would like to also play around with settings and perhaps manage to add driving modes & code keys
I've read i should do that using E-sys , but i never found a psdzData with K24 series in Mainseries\
I've an Icom A + icom D cable which works with Ista-p
Any help would be greatly appreciated

I think you must use NCS Expert for K24.

What model and year?
As snypertje wrote, for coding bike model which falls in K24 you will need NCS Expert. To be honest, there is not much to be coded in mofels from K24.
As for adding options, you need fsc code from BMW for your VIN number. This code is generated by BMW when you pay for the option. Unless the bike had that option before but was coded out. In which case you will need fsc repair code

NCS Expert is the right tool for coding K71. But as I said, there is not much to be coded on these models.
Suppose you already have ASC and you want to add Riding modes Pro. As I remember Riding Modes Pro became available for F800GT from 2016. I am not sure if it is available as retrofit on model from 2013. You can send me your VIN via PM and I can check.
Even if it is possible, then you need the FSC activation code which is generated by BMW for your VIN after payment. Only then you can activate the option by using ISTA/P

Hi,
Small update, I've updated my ista p version to 3.65.1, hoping that the" new" I level would be proposed as a measure plan for my k71.. But it does not. Would you know why the integration level isn't the last as in the ista p integration level pdf?.. It's stuck on k024-18-03-500(was released in 2014 I think,) instead of k024 06-11-500

Because there isn't newer software. Just select one module coding and after ISTA will change I-level

It's strange because it's different of what's stated I the I level ista pdf for k71..

Typo's in both of the iLevels quoted there ?, K024 has not been updated since 2016 11th month
