(SOLVED) Astra H Odo correction - fab - 18-10-2018

Hi,

I am struggeling with this odometer correction of an Astra H. (M35080VP e2p)

Carprog wants the increment-only part erased.
Digiprog 3 does not like this eeprom either... biggrin

I managed to erase the block from hex 00-1F with R270.
Then i tried to correct the milage with Carprog, no succes.
Carprog reads wrong milage (way too High now!! & does not want to write any more).

So i decided to manipulate the file manualy and just write back with R270.

The problem is i dont know how and can not find the procedure.

So, can someone do it for me (or show me how...) yes
210 000 KM pls.
tnx

Just found this on my PC.....

"The milage is stored in the next lines:
0000: 1E 25 1E 25 1E 25 1E25 1E 25 1E 25 1E 25 1E 25
where the next bytes:
1E 25 - is a milage "

i want 210 000 km.
thats 33450 hex.
how do i fit it there..?

I wish ppl would help in this manner more often....
How was the saying again:

"give a man a fish, he will eat for one day learn him how to make a fishing rod and he will not be hungry the rest of his life"

(or something like that hhh)

RE: (SOLVED) Astra H Odo correction - vectrac20tsri - 10-01-2019

Would 150,000 km be

24 9F 24 9F 24 9F 24 9F 24 9F 24 9F 24 9F 24 9F ?

RE: (SOLVED) Astra H Odo correction - Clusters - 10-01-2019

Yes. In hex 249f X 10 = 249f0 to decimal = 150,000

Thanks for the reply, I was just figuring out cd30/cd40 security code decoding but in the end I had to unpack ocsr for the xor values as I couldn't figure out, and cd40 uses the same algo just at a different offset.

Absolutely love this site, it's a minefield of knowledge and knowledgeable people.
