E-Sys guidelines needed - 14TLC - 26-10-2018

I work only on motorcycles. Recent models becoming more interesting for coding, so time to learn E-sys. There are many materials on E-sys on this and other forums, so I'm just asking for simple guidelines for setting up E-sys environment.

For beginning, most scenarios where I expect to use E-sys are

- Complete I-Level upgrade
- I-Level upgrade on single module
- Option retrofit using BMW FSC code
- Reset/coding to factory values

When I get used to the above operations then

- FDL coding

So my question is for which of the above operations I can uses E-sys alone and for which I need Launcher PRO? With intend to uses latest E-Sys.

Also, I'm using genuine ICOM Next, so I appreciate some guide for connecting with ICOM

Launcher only needed for FDL coding.

For connecting with icom you use easyconnect
To lock icom first. Then connect with icom ip in connection manager. If flashing NBT or kombi connect to car via router. Not icom directly to pc.
