Latest for clones is 120309a you need to buy newer version RE: OPCOM problem conecting - mattydr67 - 02-08-2019 (01-08-2019, 18:19 PM)hypercar Wrote: it is a cheap clone can i up grade software it or need to buy a new one?First of all you need to know if your MCU is a real PIC18F458 and you can upgrade/diwngrade the firmware If yes then even it is a cheap clone it isa good one that you can upgrade it and use it with any version of opcom/vauxcom. How can you test this? Well you need to upgrade and the you have downgrade the firmwarr using OCFLash. If the interface will still usable with a diffrent firmare then with the default after this procedure you have a real MCU. If will not then you block it forever and you cannot use it anymore. I mean you will brick it. For 170823c there isn't a free solution so you need to buy it. Good luck |
