Latest for clones is 120309a you need to buy newer version smile

First of all you need to know if your MCU is a real PIC18F458 and you can upgrade/diwngrade the firmware
If yes then even it is a cheap clone it isa good one that you can upgrade it and use it with any version of opcom/vauxcom.
How can you test this?
Well you need to upgrade and the you have downgrade the firmwarr using OCFLash.
If the interface will still usable with a diffrent firmare then with the default after this procedure you have a real MCU. If will not then you block it forever and you cannot use it anymore. I mean you will brick it.
For 170823c there isn't a free solution so you need to buy it.
