E39 530D 2003 EGR RHEINGOLD? - beluga - 01-11-2018
Hello, my EGR plug is unplugged, I'm getting this error in Rheingold (ISTA)
CODE 000400
DDE: Exhaust-Gas recirculation or exhaust-gas recirculation controller
I dont know something is wrong with my EGR or what, by the way, it is possible to change MAF (mass air flow sensor) number via ISTA-D? Cause I replaced MAF and the part numbers was different (BOSCH OEM)

EGR unplugged will give that code.

When I bought my car, the EGR plug was connected, but it didn't work, I unplugged it. How can I know why the EGR was not working? I guess it was turned off by someone, it was really clean, shined like a new. It is possible to see it is turned off or just broken EGR? I have working Rheingold.

You need use only BOSCH OEM MAFS other shit will not work correctly

Best way is to check part number in ETK or something online like Realoem.

Why are you saying this? As I said, my old MAF was BOSCH OEM, and the new one is BOSCH OEM, not cheap shit.
