All - forget my posts above.
I have been working trying to resolve why IstaP shuts down prompting "brand not permissible" and I have found it.
Loader 6.1F with Emulator is the issue. Once you select Kdcan or enet and the emulator runs brand selection will not work - it defaults back to what was last selected regardless of what brand you select - Mini, RR, Moto etc.
FIX - use Loader 6.4L Rev 1 and select the brand to open istap (3.65 and up). Check the brand you selected works by going to the settings tab (spanner tab) and you should see the Brand selected. Close Istap. Start 6.1F Loader and select your emulator, then select your brand. Check when IstaP opens on the settings tab that the correct Brand has been opened.
