vag steering assist error 03375 mechanical error - Ducka - 21-11-2018

hey guys, i hope that this thread isnt newbie enough or repeated but... I have here in my garage a Audi Q3 2.0 TFSI with steering assist yellow light on, and shows me the error 03375 003, steering mechanical error, i found some informations in the internet and even a TSB for VW talking about this error, and in the TSB says to reflash with new firmware, make the calibrations and adaptions and then upload the characteristic curves for this steering, i did all of that, but the error just dont erase at all, it still there, with the same mileage and date when first happened. the assistence of the steering works, reduced but works. do you have some other info about that??? another procedure maybe????

this car came to my shop with this error after another shop changed the airbag clock spring, and than all this started, its using a software 5n1909144P 1202, I updated to 5n1909144S 1501, i have another firmware to try again if its necessary, but... i seems fine when i flashed the module.

thanks in advance

do basic calibrations of steering angle sensor.

i did basic calibrations of the steering angle sensor, and the "end course" of the steering rack too, both calibrations worked well, but the light still on, with the same error 03375 003, mechanical error

i have the same situation. Basic calibrations did not work, and tried to calibrate with the steering wheel removed by moving the steering angle sensor from -560 to +560 degrees. It adapted succesfully the basic settings, but that "03375 steering motor mechanical failure" popped up and it wont go away.

try reflash this version

I tried all the Calibrations from VAg database at the time (for that PN), and a lot of differents characteristics curves, none of that solved, so I changed the steering gear with Module and motor for a used one that i bought from a junkyard, flashed the lastest software and the right characteristic curves and the problem was solved. but I still have a the problematic unit, so I will try to flash it on a bench with this software i see what happens, if I have any news I'll post here a feedback

Hi mate, how did you solve this? I have same problem with Q3 2.0 177hp and 5n1909144r
