try changing sata mode in bios from ahci to ide.
also try enabling universal restore when restoring the image with acronis.

Did you wait until network finished configuring and WSM became active? may take a few minutes. Do not start ISTA/P until network has configured.

Could you please explain what you did? Because I have already change the MAC address, wait about 15 min, and still have red lines and russian language in ISTAP P.
Maybe I've done something wrong. Anyone can help me?

Hi to all people, I have a noob question: I connot recover the hdd image tomake it bootable with my laptop. I have a lenovo x201. I used acronis2014 to recover the hdd image but when I minsert it in the laptop the only thing I got is a black screen with a white blinking bar on the top-left corner of the screen. Can anybody suggest me how to recover the hdd image correctly? A sort of step-by-step guide please. Thank you!

HD split into 3 partitions, install xp on the first.
then copy all the files of 'image on the OS partition that you installed XP, you cancel before all the files.
no recovery image, but copy and paste files.

So the hard drive now have installed and starts it. The network cards are all intstalliert and should also fit. Problem now is when ISID started coming in the middle of a message and WSM does not start.
Do you have to write a different MAC address here?
Or because you have to still change what?
I look here by not quite. But perhaps one can tell what still needs to be changed just me.

Your laptop ethernet adaptor is the one that needs to be named Eth0.
then you need to change the ISID mac address to match the mac address of your Ethernet adaptor. Use this procedure:
1. Open a command prompt, type in ipconfig/all and write down the mac address of your Ethernet adaptor.
2. Now change the ISID mac address in the following files, to match the one from step 1 (using notepad or xml editor):
p:\apps\wsm\apps\agent\data\DeviceInventory-ISIDR20000032.xml
p:\apps\wsm\apps\manager\data\DeviceInventory-ISIDR20000032.xml
p:\apps\wsm\apps\manager\data\PXEBootDevices.xml
3. Reboot your computer and after a few minutes ISTA should load up ok (red writing may take a couple of minutes to clear) [/quote]

So I have everything so far get. But have tried to test today with DCAN and unfortunately is not everything.
No connection to Rheingold and ISTA / P?
Do you have to use other data here?

Today I connected the image to 2 BMW:
1 - E60 - ista d and p works great - connects to the vehicle, working diagnosis, ista p creates a plan of action.
2 - F10 (2013) ista d - work, ista p - connects to the vehicle, but does not create a plan of action ...
can anyone confirm?
