Advice needed for novice. What coding is in a flash - icedragon - 30-11-2018
So i started flashing using KESS a few months ago. I am just coming to do an Audi A6 DPF and EGR delete and i have had to request an original file.
So i know a KESS OBD read does not read the full flash so i was wondering what coding is inside the flash if any.
So for example i have a few Skoda's with CFFB engine codes and the ECU ID is the same. 2 of the cars are different trims so one has Satnav, electric seats and more extras and one is just basic. Now is the KESS part of the flash the same.
I am thinking it will but want to be sure before flashing this Audi.
If it does my other question is do i need to write down any module coding before before flashing with the file I have received.
