Range rover p38 becm - Baulky - 25-05-2014 Hi all Has anyone had any dealings with range rover p38 becm regarding software/hardware required to access and change setting or recode ? Thanks in advance RE: Range rover p38 becm - mrriadh - 25-05-2014 Hi mate my advice is to never play with that car there's a common fault with them becm and fuse-box so easy to break down anyway what do kinda of setting you do like to change ? RE: Range rover p38 becm - Baulky - 25-05-2014 Hi I own a p38 & look after two for others, yep your right absolute pain. I've got two faulty / locked out becm,s on the shelf, I'm after the software to interrogate and hopefully reset. One is from a diesel model and simply needs the engine ECM code reprogramming. Also be handy to reset or extract the eka code. Any help with software or hardware requirements appreciated Cheers RE: Range rover p38 becm - mrriadh - 26-05-2014 Well the dealers use system called testbook4 by omintec and it gives them access to everything but there's few aftermarket like rovacom by blackbox solution, autologic, anyway i found T4 system on ebay worth £2,395.00 mate my advice google those companies and find out what is best for you i upload a pdf file describe T4 system so you can take a idea. RE: Range rover p38 becm - zeb crusaders - 08-06-2014 I have all needed to reset / rewrite the Becm. I use Blackbox System MSV2 with direct CPU module to do it. It only uses the BDM port of the cpu. RE: Range rover p38 becm - imoturbo - 09-06-2014 Use the ssd jlr it will do |
