Mercedes NTG 2.5 Firmware Needed - asztalos - 10-12-2018
Hello everybody. I have managed to brick my NTG 2.5 unit : it had version ECE V4.1 on it. I have inserted original v13 2015-2016 navi disc and map update has started. At half of the update process it stopped and said that navigation disc in unreadable. I have tried everything, I have unmounted even the unit from the car and tried to work on it on my desk...without success.
I can access engineering mode, (if I had) I can write/rewrite firmware. I have even tried to write v14 version on the hdd directly but it did not help.
Can someone please help me with a firmware? I would really appreciate it! Thanks!

to upgrade your Comand software you need special equipment (Star Diagnosis) and Software CD, the original number of which depends on the version of DAS you will use.
if you do not have Star Diagnosis, leave this venture, go to a specialized service, this procedure takes 30-40 minutes and costs no more than 30 euros, but if you do it ineptly, then you will need a new comand. last SW to your comand 09/29. Go to engineering mode to SWDL and check current SW
