yes it hapend after flash the module sometimes and you have to lock it back..If ista failed to do it try esys transmiter comands or tool32 + corect acsm.prg file.. look this thread from 1st to last post.good luck!

Old threat, the same problem and I hope there is a solution without ISTA-P
I also have the same problem with my wifes F45, after flashing with ESYS I can´t lock it. In ISTA-D there is no service function for it (I tried 3 different versions).
Then I tried a new flash with ISTA-P, but I stocked in bootloader and the ECU has gone. Now I´m afraid to try it again with ISTA-P when the new acsm has arrived, because the car has a lot of retrofits (like EVO) and the new one also could break.
Are there any working new options?
