BMW Coding Via VPN Documentation DIY - bmwcoder75 - 13-12-2018 There you go, I compiled this document for you guys. This is my own method. Many other VPN clients available, or can be done via home router too. Especially useful when remote client does not have E-Sys or you do not want the remote client to see how you do. I was able to compile this doc and make my own procedure thanks to some posters who helped out by pointing me to the right direction. Thanks and Rep appreciated April 2019 : Updated document././. If internet connection is good, did you try to program over it? RE: BMW Coding Via VPN Documentation DIY - bmwcoder75 - 13-12-2018 (13-12-2018, 17:55 PM)oceandiver86 Wrote: thanks for the guide. You can always do it, but risky. Rate is slower for sure. Even for coding it takes 2-3 times more time. I would not chance it, especially for doing Bootloaders If you need to flash ECU, better off installing ESYS locally, does not need to be version with Token, basic E-Sys will do for flash.
