[Request] Audi a3 8V FL MMI Update - pepe3197 - 15-12-2018

Hello everyone,
I have an 2018 Audi a3 8V without virtualCockpit with the software version MHS2_ER_AU_P1240 (0211) and I want to update the MMI because I dont have subwoofer settings and I read that updating the version, the subwoofer settings appear and improve the myaudi pois icons in google earth map view. So I would appreciate that someone share with me an MMI update.

Seems that you need:
4M0 906 961 CC EU/ROW MHS2ER2035
I don't know about subwofer but at least it is next update for your firmware

Unfortunatelly I don't have this firmware. You can buy it from dealer or somewhere else, but if you want it cheaper or for free you need to find somebody on forums with access to server "service42-MMI"

Unfortunatelly I don't have this firmware. You can buy it from dealer or somewhere else, but if you want it cheaper or for free you need to find somebody on forums with access to server "service42-MMI"

Software update will not give you subwoofer control.
Every software has it, it is a question of parameterization, coding and adaptations + hardware.
If there is no subwoofer then control will not make it appear.
About audi-connect and google, they should work on P1240 and P1242
P1240 is deprecated so you can visit dealer for a free update to P1242.
P2035 is the latest but until there is a TPI for dealer will not want to update to that version.
There is TPI for P1242.

But I think you're not right about subwoofer control, I've been searching about this problem and is a problem about version, not about codings, in other forums some people solved this problem just updating to a higher version than 0211 and 0212 (MU software), but in my case Audi does not want to update my software.

Regarding the P1242 update, if I call Audi to update my MMI to that version, they must do it? Or do I have to tell something different? Where did you find that information? Do you have more details?
