DTC B1517 5A : Battery Voltage Plausibility Failure
The battery voltage differs by 2 volts on the BCM battery sense circuits for 10 seconds.

Any progress on this issue? Have a similar case here.
I tried measuring ground and supply from bcm - all good,
bcm show battery voltage same as on battery terminals,
after 10 seconds B1517 5A is flagged.
Battery sensor has B+ and LIN to BCM connection ok.

Only thing that I have discovered is that in ECU data show malfunction state for generator
low voltage test result.
As found on some repair documents, measured resistance between generator L-terminal and ground is ~300ohm opposed to suggested infinite resistance.
