airbag dump crash data - willymakit100 - 26-12-2018

hi, are there specific lines in the eeprom dumps that carry the crash data that are universal to brands (ford,gm,chrys, etc).  or is it model/year specific.  i have eeprom programmers that i can dump and reprogram, just would like info on which lines are the pertinent ones to zero out. thanks

Hi Willy

its a very good question, but its very difficult to answer it,
bcoz every Company made own algo, location, line, format,
you have to give some more time to understand this,

but your start is very good,
Best of luck and welcome to the one of the best platform called Cartechnology forum

thanks and regards

hi,
In addition to the above is there a way to modify airbag dump to convert it from RHD to LHD and vice versa and keep the coding with the main ECU ?

thanks

to be a bit more specific. i generally work with fords. so all are all fords crash data in the same locations or does it vary by model. and is there any info on specific algorithms on where the data resides. any info is appreciated. thanks and if you would rather pm info thats fine too.. thanks again
