hi ...i'm retrofitting a jcw spoiler on my mini r59 vin: t512879 , and i'd like to know wich coding i need to disable oem active spoilerÂ
only found in SPEG module the active spoiler option , is that enough ?

Disconnect active spoiler and check with ISTA in which ECU errors shows up. Then disable active spoier there.

disabled spoiler in speg module give up errors in kombi and dsc ....both unknown error... VO list has no spoiler option

Try disable coding in SPEG, then you need to find similar coding in DSC and KOMBI.
I don't know how this active spoiler works, but you can leave connected just Active Spoiler Actuator and hide it somewhere in trunk.

my problem is that the spoiler motor is broken so disabling in the speg module is not enough ..will try looking in dsc and kombi

there are a specific option code to insert in the FA for disable correctly the rear active spoiler...
