Speedometer change Mile to KM - georgia55 - 11-01-2019
Hi Guys!
I have a 6WA Tacho with Mile. I want to open and exchange other KM film, but I have no experience ever opened speedometer. can i give you some tips?

Use fork, spoon and heat gun
Mark current position with tape
Remove niddles
Change back plate
Done
Very delicate operation, HIGH risk of breaking motors

how can i expand niddles? just pull up?

You tape the face to prevent damage, and lever the needles off with the spoons.
You can use INPA or ISTA to command the gauge to a specific value for reinstalling the needles in the correct position.

I use my speedometer disk
