E60 Seat modules - Convert FAS to BFS - ChrizLoud - 03-02-2019 Hi! Im retrofitting comforts seats in a LCI E61. The seats came from Pre-LCI E61. Wired up power, ground, and Canbus. With only drivers seat connected all is good (FAS-module). It can be controlled in INPA etc. Connecting the passanger seats (BFS-module) gives problems. BFS does not show up in UIF and both seats is controlled by FAS. If i only connect passanger seats same thing happens. There is no BFS module.. only FAS. Probably both modues is coded as FAS. I do not know how this happend. How do i convert FAS to BFS module. Can i change ECU-adress on the module? Trying to code or update module on BFS Ecu-adress gives no communication. RE: E60 Seat modules - Convert FAS to BFS - Vojno - 03-02-2019 The seat module knows where he is from the connection in the connector. In the passenger site in the connector (ex.X13990) need pin 2 to GND!!! From here the module knows that he is BFS. RE: E60 Seat modules - Convert FAS to BFS - Hoborg - 04-02-2019 Exactly , modules are the same but difference is in wiring. RE: E60 Seat modules - Convert FAS to BFS - ChrizLoud - 18-02-2019 Did the extra ground and it became a BFS.. Now everything is OK! Thank you! |
