Just out of couriousity:
What do you guys use with the Kess unit on the edc16's? (Read/Write U31+34)
CAN or K-line? And why?
Know it's kind of a noob question, but hey, we all need to start somewhere.

always I use CAN and never tried Kline .

what ever works for you..K-line usualy slower and full read(where posible)

Worked Like a charm on can. Only read was awfully slow (12 minutes)
