Ignition control module delete - jonny-5 - 10-02-2019

Hi I am looking at doing the icm delete on my Passat 1.8t.
There ain’t a lot of guides out there that don’t expect you to spend loads on adapters so I intend to build a walkthrough guide that even a novice could follow.
With this guide you will not need to buy crazy priced adapters
The adapters only change it from 4 pin to 3 pin but what they don’t tell you is all they do is bridge the wires so you can simply cut the plugs off the icm part of your loom solder and heat shrink. This also would provide a cleaner looking finish as there is no bulky plugs as for the coils go to a breakers get yourself the connectors of the fsi looms cut them with plenty spare cable then the Same again on your own loom. Again your converting from 4 pin to 3 the fourth being the ground and since there is no icm anymore the ground is not needed then bridge the three cables off your loom onto the connectors of the fsi loom. that’s the gist of it anyway a detailed guide with pics will be posted for now though I am looking

Max characters reached on last post I’m looking for wiring diagrams and pin outs for the 1.8t agu/apu and 2.0 fsi ingnition coils and ignition loom
Any help greatly appreciated and will be credited

Cheers
Jonny
