[NEED HELP] Punto 1.3 diesel no FPS - rightpcb - 18-02-2019
I need help please, I have 2010 Punto 1300 Diesel 199A2000
it does not start and has:
People say to check inertia switch but this Punto does not have
does anyone know ?

Looks problem with engine ECU.
What about car warning lights? it's on ?

only warning light is the yellow triangle and nothing else apart from normal oil and battery light when key is on, anyway to test ecu so I'm 100% sure

Have you replace the battery? And make wrong in positive - negative? Try to start the car with low battery power?
The best you have to do is to find a same type car, and swap the ecu and the bcm, if the car start (need remove antenna for the immo) you have to check the bcm, and after the ecu...

check with mes or alfa obd inside bsi there was option to reset fps

When you insult the key, turn the engine, the diesel comes to inietori, otherwise you have to use testers to diagnose.

Instructions
The following procedure should be carried out using the steering column switch unit lever to restore the correct operation of the vehicle
•KEY OFF (start conditon)
•KEY ON
•Activate right-hand direction indicator
•Deactivate right-hand direction indicator
•Activate left-hand direction indicator
•Deactivate left-hand direction indicator
•Activate right-hand direction indicator
•Deactivate right-hand direction indicator
•Activate left-hand direction indicator
•Deactivate left-hand direction indicator
•KEY OFF
Or with Examiner , witech.
Connect the diagnosis equipment to the Body Computer control unit,
enter "actuators" and carry out the "Inertia switch reset (FIS)" procedure.
