EDC15 - mpps boot mode error. - vectrac20tsri - 02-03-2019

Hi, I have a edc15 from a Alhambra I'm trying to flash back to standard with mpps v16 using boot mode.

The car runs great but I flashed with a sharan map and now mpps won't flash through obd anymore.

So I'm following this diagram

I have the two 12v wires from the ecu joined to the 12v from mpps running straight to external power supply.

The two grounds from the ecu are joined with the two grounds from the mpps going straight to the ground from external power supply.

k-line joined between ecu and mpps

I get the error message "No external voltage".

My bench supply provides up to 2 amp but only less than 0.2 amp being drawn but to be safe I have a old 500B pc power supply so I also tested with this but the same error message.

Any ideas if it's hardware error or human error?

PS I have a wire from pin 24 to ground with a 5k resistor for 10 seconds.

I'm silly, the diagram must be of a obd port so mpps is reversed, switched kline and 12v and all is good but still wont let me write a file, comes up with error send log et.

Maybe you have no power to pin 16 or ground .

Yep, I replied but it added it to the bottom of the first post, still can't flash original file though.

All sorted, was complete user error, there's 2 edc15 options in generic and I was selecting the wrong one.
