Vectra C needle sweep - vectrac20tsri - 14-03-2019

Not sure if this has been posted so please remove if this is a repost.

I take absolutely zero credit for this as I found it on a Polish forum looking for info on which led's to change on a vectra c but some seem to keep stuff like this a secret??.

I have not tested this, not sure if sw version ect effects this so keep a backup.

You need to dump the contents of the 93C66, locate 6 bytes from 0CA to 0CF and replace "00 00 00 00 00 00" with  "A0 64 FA FA FA FA"

then go to 0B and if you have "0E" replace with "1E".

I will test on a 2006 vectra sri tomorrow and report back.

RE: Vectra C needle sweep - Patrik - 16-09-2022

Sorry to resurect old thread but i have found something that will help. So the instrument only with this index codes can be moded to needle sweep: TN, TG, TD, QQ, QJ, TS, QS. I think the list is not complete because all instrumets that have soldered led for parking pilot can be moded.

Update: You need to check the instruments fw version and date of production. the date should be 2006.07 and up and fw version 4.46 and up. and it will work
