Please Help with EGS flash - stefa1991 - 16-03-2019
Hi, i have a bmw x3 e83 year 2009 and when i try to flash the EGS module with Winkpft i get this error everytime, i have tried every mode( comfort/ expert) and every setting in configuration menu. The cable is a K + DCAN cable with switch. The shift is now in a strange mode, gear display is off, and many warning lights appear on the Kombi.
Any advice?

Can you still communicate with ISTA or INPA or is the module unresponsive now?

With inpa i can' t communicate, with ista yes It shows programming status 12 and if i try to reprogram the module It fails with the same errore as the previous post.
With winkpft i can read the uif with assembly Number ecc. So it can communicate .

Hello i had same error few weeks ago while flashing DDE, see attachment. After that i found some settings on the internet, see link. I dont know if they are right so and okay for every ECU, but for me it worked after that.

Which solution of the link works for you?
I have tried battery charger but it' s the same, tried those settings of winkfp as shown in picture, but it doesn' t work.
Solution 1 is coding with NCS Expert but i can' t find egs module in NCS Expert.
How can i code the module?

I got it 2 times with a DCAN interface. But it took a long time for EGS to update.
The best way to get it back with an ICOM.

Look in device Manager your Interface. Set it to com1 and also Look ms Time. Some times After Windows updating it goes back to Standard 16ms, than i Need to set up 1ms again every time

I solved it twice with DCAN.
And a few times with ICOM when DCAN has failed.
