Hello Cartechnology members,
I would need some information.
I have a MIB2 retrofitted in my Audi A3 Saloon. Component protection was removed by VW CHN via VPN connection.
Functions as Bluetooth, Navigation, Navigation maps, SDS, Carplay etc are enabled by FECs.
But what's about online services?
A bulgarian company is offering "Activation of all online services" for MIB2 including Online POI, traffic, news, weather.
I am looking for someone who has the same knowledge and/or willingness to share it with the community.
(I would not prefer to send my unit to Bulgaria for weeks..)

Do you have all the functions activated? ie maps and carplay etc.
do you have the icon for audi connect (online services) ?
When i bought my hacked MMI2 i didnt have icons for connect or Audi smartphone. i had to change the adaption channels to get them to appear. After that they worked fine. Unfortunately i cant remember what channels i changed to finally get them to work.
i think because of the financial gain and the means in which it is done there is nobody willing to post information for free. You will have to bite the bullet and pay to have it hacked.

This will never happen because of the way it works. Its not something you do once in the unit its is something that you need to support over the years.

check the hmi and online channels in 5F
