E46 engine swap problem - xssnake - 17-04-2019
I have question, in my e46 I changed the engine from 2.5 to 2.2, since then the gearbox works strangely, after changing the gear there is no power and the revolutions are falling and after 2 sec goes up. Could this be the fault of the software? It was m54b25, it is b22, the gearbox is changed too. When i diagnose car by the ista threre is still m54b25, could this be the problem?

Maybe you need to reprogram the EGS with a different version.
WinKFP should do this.

If you can help me which number zusb to choose. The gearbox would fit me 7529010. To dme 7545416 but I have removed the air pump and installed lpg so I think over the eu2 software and then the number is 7529010.
I will be very graceful if you confirm me.

DME 7545418 ( No kat or no EOBD or EU2 ) up 2005
Gearbox is correct 7529010

Do I need to do something else after the flash? Or just reset adaptation?
Will I need an ews-dme synchronization in e46?
I still have a question about switching to EU2, do I have to remove the fuse from the pump and probe heating?
And last question, after coding this in ista there will be b22 and if not what to do to see engine that is mounted now in car?

Everything went well but with small problems. I tried to write soft but when i try there pop up error 2020 (ecu doesnt answer) and the gearbox entered emergency mode.
I have a second winkfp installed in the virtual machine. And everything went right there. What is the problem with NOvmware winkfp? Everything else works great on both programs.

Comunication - Diagnostic protokol - K-line

And what about setting com port, I read somewhere that it is good to change the timeout to 1000ms??
