2001 jaguar s type standar radio - shammy123 - 25-06-2014

Hi all, I have the wiring diagram for that car, but cant figure out what is negative and what is positive.
am putting an after market headunit and am working on the speaker wiring. on the workshop manual it gives the colors for the wiring but doesn't indicate + or -.
any help would be appreciated

use voltmeter and check wiring if it shows you 12v than u are on right wiring usually the power wiring are more thin than speakers ones

ps dont forget to check radio fuse is ok or not and turn ignition on

thanks for that, gets me ahead on the next block [power block] so at least I know what to look for.
after some research online am assuming speaker darker wire is negative. will know when system is up and running and nothing blows
