a few days ago i flash a VW polo 1.2 TDI DCM3.7 with pcmflash.
the need EGR off. so the bought a file somewhere and ask me if i can flash it.
i say no problems!
first i read the car ( for backup ).
i load the egr off file in pcmflash and i have massage that checksums are corrected.
so i continu with write.
after it was finish it gives me a massage succesfull and turn of ignition.
i did it and ecu is not booting.... i dont have any id.
i found somebody with fv2 and we read out the flash file.
if i compare it with winols it looks like that the only area is change is checksums...
bud why is the ecu not booting....
we write back original flash ( read out with pcmflash ) and ecu is booting.
i told them to sort this out.
also i contacted PCM support bud the have holiday.
could somebody check the files for me?
i upload original pcmflash obd read, mod file egr off without checksums, bdmread,
