2TB Sport software flash EGS E6x - Fatalix - 09-05-2019
Thought i would share this guide to flash 2TB software into E6x LCI sport automatic transmissions as i have been looking ages for this and finally found it to finish up a retrofit of sport gear selector for E6x LCI.
1. Change your VO using NCS expert by removing $205 (steptronic) from CAS/LMA and add $2TB (SAT), then code this new VO
to your KOMBI and EGS.
2. Using WINKFP flash your EGS to the $2TB ZUB firmware from the list downunder. You can see the individual typecode by using a vindecoder.
By just doing step 1 will get you the "SPORT" display on cluster and heavier steering, Step 2 will give your 100% SAT
mode ie faster shift, more aggressive throttle blip on downshift.

it is necessary to change selector gear on SAT? or only programmig? just like in F-series only programming without exchange of SAT?
On list there is no BMW e60 530d LCI xdrive. Whether it can not be there?

Using the selector only step 1 is needed, but for the full function for the gearshifts step 2 is also needed.
As far as i know SAT didnt come with Xdrive, but i might be wrong. Haven't seen though.

I've a 2008 E61 525d that isn't listed. It uses the GKE215 EGS. Which option would be best to suit the engine? The car has been remapped to 250bhp as it's the same lump as the 530d

Are you sure it is GKE215? It is in fact the box from the petrol cars.. Wouldn't recommend flashing as it is mainly sport software for the petrol cars though.
But if you feel for it - give it a try and report back.
