AUDI A8 MMI 2G BOSE SOUND issue AFTER Update - coulinator - 12-05-2019
Hi,
After an update from scrath of my RIGHT HAND A8 2003 MMI 2G (due to bootloader option badly checked in green menu), the SOUND can only by heard from LEFT Side.
I've started from version 1100 containing HMI metainfo as required by bootloader. Then directly update to 5570.
I've the BOSE sound.
I've also a VCP and i'm looking for a solution to my problem. I looked in the ZDC folder of VCP but dit not find any compatible file ... I assume i need to recode something in the bose ? Right ?
VCP says that there is a Protection issue ....
Is anyone can help me ?

Up ...Update.
Seems to be a faulty COMPONENT PROTECTION set after MMI 5570 update
But it is the ORIGINAL BOSE Soud System of the CAR. All worked well before this update !
How can i remove this COMPONENT PROTECTION ?
If i reinstall all (from bootloader) do i've a change to recover my BOSE ?

You have triggered component protection, that's why is not recommended to update Bose system.
If you don't have Abrites or some similar tool, you should visit dealer to remove CP.

You were right. V+S and ODIS are not enought.
I need the DMS account
Withoiut this , ODIS is totally unusefull and a=cannot do more than my offline VAG CAN.
Is anyone can have a usernamle / password for 1 day. I've only a component protection to remove.
Linked to the BOSE update.
