EWS error with Cloned ECU Edc16cp35 - Dealirio - 19-05-2019
HI, i have tryed to clone my ECU EDC16CP35.. Car is 335d with 286HP! I Cloned via BDM and wrote FLS and EPR from Ori Ecu into the Used one.
I Installed it today and tryed to Start the Car.. Car wont Start. I Read Errors and saw that in DDE was the Error EWS Manipulation.
I Try to get 2 Working ecus with Original File and Modified file easy to Switch. How can i get to work the second Ecu?

Have you tried synchronizing using a diagnostic tester?

No because I'm not sure that work the original dde after sync Ews with used dde.

synchronize cas and dde .. every time eeprom is written in dde it is necessary to synchronize ews.

read and write the eeprom from working ecu to the other with programmer not with bdm. bdm will write it bad.

The MPC Files from ori and used ecu are 100% same.. I checked now

synchronize cas and dde you car no has ews
no problem only change two bytes
diference its in micro ecu

Now i read eeprom via Bdm again.. and i saw some differences between ori and written eeprom..
I wrote Ori eeprom dump again and read it again, now it match 100% with original. Maybe this was the problem.
I try it in the next days and report back.

If you power it on, it will probably write some DTC's to the eeprom, so that's why you get the differences. I don't see the harm in trying to synchronize it personally.
