2014 Transit BSI replacement - RYM6746 - 08-06-2019 Hi all. Got to replace 2014 transit BSI on Monday. I have forscan and IDS but due to the key's being programmed to BSI I don't think IDS is going to be an option as we don't have the ford security clearance (applied for it twice through email they didn't bother to even respond) I am relatively new to forscan and definitely havnt used it to replace module's or do any coding has anyone got any experience in doing this as I could really do with some tips before I go steaming in? Is it even possible with the forscan is a good start ? Thanks for your help in advance RE: 2014 Transit BSI replacement - xtac1080 - 08-06-2019 Never heard of a BSI module in a Ford. What is it? RE: 2014 Transit BSI replacement - RYM6746 - 08-06-2019 Sorry meant body control module RE: 2014 Transit BSI replacement - xtac1080 - 09-06-2019 You won't need NASTF access to perform PATS functions on that year Transit. Use IDS, and MAKE SURE you have 2 keys for the relearn! If customer does not have 2 this procedure cannot be completed successfully. RE: 2014 Transit BSI replacement - RYM6746 - 09-06-2019 I live in the UK so NASTF doesn't come in to it. Due to it being a Euro5 vehicle and me not having security clearance from FORD I cannot programme the keys in using IDS Etis of FDRS RE: 2014 Transit BSI replacement - xtac1080 - 11-06-2019 Forscan will definitely be of no use to you in this case as you will still need security access after the BCM is swapped. I'd suggest befriending a locksmith near to you who has credentials. If you have enough of these vehicles I'm sure you two could work out a reasonable price. It's sadly the new paradigm of working with newer models. |
