Good evening all
2007 Tranny.
Abs light came on whilst driving it but customer reported a loss of engine power as well.
Vehicle would not restart and this is what happens :
When you put ignition on it illuminates for a split second and immo led flashes 3 times rapidly then goes back to flashing once second or so. BSI unit clicking like a relay - clicks half a dozen times and stops unless you turn ign on and off again.
Started with a brand new Battery as old one a bit slow at turning it previously
Checked body and engine earths by running a jump lead direct from battery.
Checked ign switch is is putting out lives correctly
Can only connect diag to BSI and Inst Panel as other ecu`s need ign.
Faults in BSI : Loss of communication with ABS
Loss of communication with Airbag
Loss of communication with INJ Comp
No faults in Inst panel
Thinking the ABS was the first thing noticed i disconnected the loom from the unit but still no different
I have checked all fuses under the bonnet, All fuses in the first fuse box behind glovebox and every fuse on the BSI
Any help would be much appreciated
