I think the success rate is like 2%. I think using VVDI and cloning to their chip is the best option. About cloning the chip on a WD chip, it seems not bad solution since no emulator to leave inside the PCB. What afraid me is time that it will take desolder the eeprom, clone it on another chip then solder the new.. I guess it need a special tool to desolder these chips. How is your experience with this method ? |
