Passat TDI 170 - ROD-BENDERS - 18-06-2019

Hi guys maybe someone can help  nerd

VW Passat 2007 tdi 170 wagon dsg
HW: PPD1.2
HW: 03G906018AS 9971
SW: 6576286553
VIN nr.: WVWZZZ3CZ7Exxxxxx
Engine: R4 2.0l PPD1.2 BMR

Ok problem is differential pressure sensor fault P2002 short to B+ and P0473 short to B+

Both of these codes are differential pressure sensor.
1. Changed sensor and calibrated ok - still same fault.
2. Dpf light on.
3. Glow plug light on limp mode.
4. disconnect pressure sensor car go fine but only dpf light on.
5. Fully checked out wiring loom to ecu all ok.
6. Appears to be fault with ecu

A. How easy is it to adapt a secondhand ecu to this car with Odis Service ?
B. Can I do this with Odis Service offline ?
C. Would I need someones help who have Vag online account ?

I know I can get another ecu and use julie emulator, but I would rather adapt another ecu if I can

Any suggestions please Guru guys ? smile

Thanks

cheers

are you planning on fixing and keeping dpf in place rod benders
clone with ktag

well the problem is if I dpf off this car the dpf light will carry on glowing because there is no way to turn it off, at least none of the conventional dpf off solutions can extinguish the light.

The only way to successfully dpf off the car is to get the light off, and then write dpf off solution. With these pressure sensor faults cannot get the light off  devil

But I think I would rather have dpf on and off as a last resort.

ahhh can clone with Ktag with ecu same HW SW ?

cheers

ok mate yes, ktag should clone no issue

RE: Passat TDI 170 - Jurebv - 18-06-2019

can you put ori back and do forced regeneration?

unfortunately it wont do a forced regeneration with those two fault codes

i have made dpf of on the same car, the light goes out after a few miles or
Engine adaptation channel 12. Set  to 0

Not with short to battery + fault codes Loki  handshake

when disconnect the sensor, is it still short to battery

Hello
Release the tubes that are connected to the differential sensor (the tubes, not the cables), circulate with the car and look at the parameters to see if the differential pressure drops, try to erase the dtcs, the fault codes should disappear.
Then when the car is without dtcs, do a forced regeneration
