You can upload Right parametrization file with VCP. It is the easiest way.

Or, but i have not tested it:

Downgrade with P0040 Firmware (this have no Train check, user defined in red menu), as second you can upgrade to K2519_2 and upload parametrization with ODIS Online. This Firmware is original for your System available.
After you can make a upgrade to S2519_1.
I have all three Firmware packages.

Mmm, do you have the parametrization files? I spoke to VCP and they don't have them sad

of course this would be preferred.

I don't necessarily want to downgrade the firmware as I paid to our Chinese friend to enable CarPlay and map updates and downgrading would erase all these changes...

If you dont have that zdc then downgrade only the amp and use the available zdc in VCP, if your VCP is original.
What is the amp part no?

Two issues:
1. VCP only has parametrization files for pre-FL Bose amp. My car is a facelift. Bose amp part no. 4G5 035 223 C.
2. As part of the MMI update and Carplay enablement, I believe the train version was changed on my MMI, so it will not accespt any older firware updates. Also it looks like the Bose amp was upgraded to 4G5 035 223 E in the process.

Then there is ZDC for 223E you need to request access to it form VCP support.

OK, just out of curiosity, I went and checked the file download section of the VCP interface and what do I find? Parametrization files for the FL A7 Bose amp! Right after their support told me they don't have them smile

Parametrization uploaded and everything working now. I'm now in for a much improved sound experience - the Bose subwoofer has its own dedicated knob now (at last!) smile

Definitely worth it smile
