Hello.
I have a question.
I'm using version 4.17.41.
When I click on the iCom connection, the (ongoing background process ...) is very slow.
It currently takes more than five minutes.
What's the problem? Please help me.

I have this too. At the dealer everything works fast.
I have no clue, why this happens.

Even with a new installation of 4.18.24 it‘s the same. It takes about one minute to read out the vin and start reading data.
Does anybody know how to solve this?

Do you have direct connection set or local network?

it is set to the ediabas.ini. which has remote set as interface.
should i change it?

If you use ICOM, then it should be direct connection or local network. If you use K+DCAN, then ediabas.ini, but with STD:OBD as interface.

Actually, I saw this too, I tested with ICOM and with KDCAN and in both situations the identification takes much longer than with previous versions

at the dealer it is pretty fast, so i think it has to do with some config.
