Morning all
I have a problem with my Navi.
It was basically dead after the car was sitting in the garage for about 6 months without battery. When I connected the battery all was working fine, except the navi. Display was black, no response at all and nothing worked on the headunit.
Brought it to a car audio service - they found that the power supply IC`s were burnt - I saw them and they were toasted.
The shop guy changed them with genuine ones and now the headunit starts on the bench, but it switches off after 5 seconds. In order to start it again it needs to be disconnected from the power supply. The same happens when it is mounted in the car - works for 5 seconds and goes off.
Anyone have seen this problem before? Any advice or solution?
