Audi A3 8V MIB2 need Firmware 1326 - denniscust - 16-07-2019

Hi,

I have a MIB2 unit with Firmware 1168, but unfortunately this firmware has no subwoofer control.
Can anyone here provide the newest firmware (1326) so that I can upgrade my unit?

It is a retrofitted unit so I can't get it from the dealer.

Hello,
do you have B&O branded sound system? With Audi Sound System, Subwoofer control wont be available. sad

1168 should have Subwoofer control already

Hi,

unfortunately I only have the Audi Sound System.
But I heard some people have the subwoofer control with Firmware 1326 and Audi Sound System.

im sure the update only fixes the B&O. I know somebody with the latest firmware and it never brought back the option for bass speaker.

It is possible that sw ver 1326 is a necessary but not sufficient condition.
Parametrization may be needed as well. It is not yet confimed that a simple update to 1326 from red menu brings back the subwoofer control even if you have B&O.

It seems it is not easy to get the firmware, otherwise I would have tried.

let me know if you find a way of getting the subwoofer setting back on the MMI2 with the Audi Sound System.
