ENTRYNAV 2 Repair Kit “ component protection active !! HELP - MAXGENIO - 23-08-2019

I have a big problem with the ENTRYNAV 2 installed to MINI F60, I can't add the FSC the unit it is locked ( component protection active ) to ISTA D

this unit was installed in another car but all the old FSC has been deleted by tool32 and I flashed with the last psdzdata

Maye I need the FSC 170  02  to unlock , if anyone could help me to have this file included on the pack repair

this is My VIN   WMWYY31040    3G49276

I seem can use any FSC 170 entrynav not necessarily produced on my VIN

I have all the FSC OEM of my car but without the 170

Please help me thanks a lot

Massimiliano

Hi,

BMW isn’t selling the 170 FSC, perhaps time to drive to your local dealer to request a PUMA case or anything else.

Hi,

But you got the FSC from BMW, or?
There is. I faked solution available and the component protection with this headunit is new to me, to see it,
It seems, that it is new to others, too.

You got the original fsc of my car but without the 170 02 , I would just have this file even from in the other car you do not need to match my VIN. If someone has this repair package available it would be the solution

you need to goto BMW and document that you have bought this unit legitimately. Then bmw can req. to code to unlock the unit.

It has nothig to do with fsc codes. Read the Release notes to ista+

...so it isn’t possible to retrofit such an used entryevo headunit about missing skills to viriginize such a headunit?

If you know someone at bmw they might be able to send you the code based/calculated form the input you give via ISTA.

it is possible to install a used unit, .. but it must first be virginized, and then installed.

if it is installed without virginizing it, .. you risk  is component protection active, if you are not very practical in the installation.
now it must request the unlock code in bmw.
