I've got faulty Bosch ECU part no 0261208669 YX
Is it interchangable with ECUs that have different letters coding ? There are plenty of units from different opel model.
Which tool do i need to clear used part.
Can i clear used ECU with opcom

Hey. Yes, you can reset the ecu with opcom but to do this, you must have a security code. Help you here Carprog or FVDI.

As i remember opcom can retreive security code from old ECUs like this one, this is KWP protocol not CAN. Am i right ?
Could someone confirm is this ECU interchangable with other models ? Part number 0261208669 YX is quite rare.

This ecu is me7.6.1- z10xep/z12xep/z14xep with this car : Corsa C/Meriva A. You must reprogramming software (SPS) under VIN.

With Carprog please see the pic and connect ground to ECU body also ( PIN 2 IS GREEN WIRE)

I've connected same as in the picture, except PIN 5. I took gnd ONLY from body, i thought that's enough?
